Wyreside Hall Hotel, near Dolphinholme, is one of the most classically beautiful buildings in Lancashire. Grade ll listed and with centuries of history, it overlooks the River Wyreside and is surrounded by 100 acres of peaceful English countryside with amazing views all ingredients required for a perfectly stylish, rmonatic wedding and civil ceremony.
For most people, those ingredients would be enough to launch it as a wedding venue but not for the owners who wanted to make sure that Wyreside Hall Hotel could offer the best of everything. It now includes all things luxurious from fabulous accommodation, food to helicopter landing pads and stunning stained glass.
Having the vision really helped transforming Wyreside into this spectacular venue. It had sadly fallen into disrepair, which was a tragedy as it is one of the jewels in Lancashire’s crown. For the owners it has been a labour of love who have keenly studied history, wanting to ensure that Wyreside Hall Hotel would be stylish and elegant, whilst still retaining its reputation as one of Lancashire’s historical houses.
A wedding or civil ceremony, held here means that the individual couple’s love story also becomes a part of the history of this special place and that is certainly going to be something for the family archives. The photographs look spectacular, this is because it’s 100 acres, surrounded with wraparound views, includes lovely features such as ponds, follies, fountains, all making a beautiful backdrop whatever the season.
